Your Roles and Requirements

What you’ll do:

• Design highly scalable and secure systems delivering best-in-class performance and service robustness.
• Priorities the requirements to meet core requirements of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and strategies buy vs build.
• Create minimalistic code and ensure components are meeting functional and non-functional requirements, security, low-maintainability, high availability, and high-scale needs.
• Follow and mentor the team to follow engineering best practices.
• Design, participate, and constantly improve our hiring process for engineering roles.
• Lead complex projects and collaborate with partners and customers worldwide.
• Constantly explore ways to improve our systems and drive implementation.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Thrive in a 0 to 1 environment at an early-stage startup
• Can be autonomous - juggle a lot of different things and manage your time well
• Expertise in building low latency microservices in Java Spring Boot
• Good understanding of MySQL, Postgres, Redis, and other transactional and NoSQL data stores
• Experience in at least one of the messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure - AWS
• Experience working with data pipeline
